Abstract
The presented thesis deals with wind generator constructions in the Czech Republic. The individual chapters contain summary of basic knowledge on energy from renewable power sources, next general technical, social and economic factors being connected to the wind generator operation or facts influencing their present construction in the Czech Republic. Some influences of this power generation branch on human life and nature, approving procedures of regulators prior to the wind generator construction including the rights of municipalities when approving these constructions are mentioned as well.
