Práce dobrovolníků v rámci IZS v podmínkách Portugalska

Abstract

The thesis compares the position of volunteers and volunteer firemen in the Czech Republic and Portugal. It starts with the description of Portugal, mainly its history, location, the system of government. Then Portuguese system of salvage and humanitarian operations as well as the way Czech IZS work are described. In the second part of the thesis, the work of Czech and Portuguese volunteer firemen and their participation in emergency situations are compared. In the last part of the thesis, several factors of the way Portuguese volunteer firemen operate are suggested as good examples that could be used in Czech conditions
