Analýza financování a hospodaření vybraného nadačního fondu

Abstract

Non-profit organizations are established to satisfy needs of members or the general schema_dspacedb. They pursue various activities, which in a certain way effect people's lives. Nowadays, the example can be whenever non-profit organizations help fight the global pandemics. The purpouse of this diploma thesis is to characterize non-profit organizations, to focus more on endowment funds and to execute the analysis of economy of a selected endowment fund. Methods of analysis, comparison and synthesis were used to achieve the goal. First in my work are the non-profit organizations generally characterized. The next chapter characterises the endowment funds with a focus on the chosen one. The final part of my work analyses the economy of the chosen endowment fund and summarizes the outcomes of the financial analysis. According to the results the economy of the fund can be overall rated positively. However the endowment fund holds many resources in a non-interest bearing banking account. Therefore, it was proposed to transfer parts of these funds to an existing savings account, or to invest in fixed assets, bonds or other securities.
