Supervisor ROSMANIT, Miroslav. The main task of the thesis is to evaluate and assess the space truss of the grandstand roof. The work describes the basic principle of operation of space trusses, their static effect and wide use in practice today and in the past. It describes in detail the joints, which are very specific at the space trusses and fundamentally affect the functioning of the entire structure. Then there is described the layout of the stands and the emphasis on visibility. Various roofing options are shown. The construction is described in detail, including its location and settlement into the terrain. Static check includes calculation of load, description of numerical model and check according to valid standards for ultimate limit state (hereinafter referred to as USL) and serviceability (hereinafter referred to as SLS). The basic assembly procedure is described here. The structure is introduced in the drawings.
