The thesis deals with the study of the explosion characteristics of a mixture of hydrogen with air at low initial temperatures. The main objective of the thesis is the experimental measurement of the explosion characteristics of hydrogen at low initial temperatures. To detect stoichiometric mixtures, numerical prediction was realized through software. The observed values are compared with those measured for normal conditions. The basic measured parameter of the explosion is the explosion pressure and the rate of increase of the explosion pressure including their maximum values.
