Abstract

This bachelor thesis is divided into four parts. The general characteristics of mineral water are explained in the first part. The following is a description of their formation with bond on the hydrogeological conditions of the area of interest. The bachelor thesis also includes classification according to applicable standards, and many others important information. Natural conditions of Luhačovice area are presented in further part. An integral part of this chapter is a description of the history of the development of spa, catchment area etc. The most important part of this work was the creation of an educational trail which contains selected mineral springs which are attractive for this area. Description of mineral springs is divided into two parts. The first part offers springs which are publicly accesible to balneological purposes especially for application within drinking treatment and are included in newly designed educational trail presented in this thesis. The second part are the other mineral springs of Luhačovice which are mainly used for carbonated baths and inhalation in bathhouses.
