Abstract
This diploma thesis was writen for ELCOM, a.s. Division of Virtual Instrumentation. The diploma thesis is based on Virtual Instrumentation concept from National Instruments. My task was to design and program modules for current modular application called "Universal Tester" which is focused on an evaluation and processing of data in the industry. I have created two new modules for Universal Tester whose functions are image edge detection algorithm and virtual cameras hadler. Module for edge detection is using gray color scale differences detection for near pixels in given image. Module for virtual cameras is used to edit, save and set parameters for digital cameras. Universal Tester and my modules are implemented under graphical programming language LabVIEW.
