Ekonomika a systém organizace městských kulturních zařízení

Abstract

This bachelor's thesis is thematically devoted to culture, cultural and creative industries with an emphasis on the production of cultural goods and services in the conditions of the public sector. More specifically, the work is focused on culture within the territorial self-governing units - municipalities. Part of the bachelor's thesis is to find an answer to the question of whether the long-term expenditures of the town Šumperk on culture are close to the long-term average of Czech cities of the same size category. Using methods of analysis and statistical testing, the hypothesis associated with this goal was confirmed. The main goal of this work is to evaluate the economy and system of organization of cultural facilities of the town Šumperk. The tools for evaluation are a comparison with the economies and systems of organization of cultural facilities of the relevant towns (Uherské Hradiště and Kolín) and following statistical testing. Based on the results of the comparison tests, all three cities are comparable to each other in the sum of the indicators, despite the differences in the amount of financing. A closer look at the individual compared areas reveals certain differences. While there is similarity in the economy, differences can be found mainly in the performance and technical areas. At the end, recommendations for improvement are formulated according to the SWOT analysis.
