Abstract

Switchable filter is used to reduce unwanted network interference that may occur in the ECG signal using electrocardiograph. The aim of this work is to design and implement this filter. The work includes a theoretical introduction covering basic description of the electrocardiograph, a general description of filters, their types and properties. Furthermore, the theoretical draft of the individual parts of the filter, derivation of transmission filter and a proposal the values of individual components. The practical design includes a circuit diagram of the entire measurement chain and the specific values of the particular components. In the practical part is verified the theoretical proposition of switchable filter through the measurement. The generated ECG signal with network interference is filtered using assembled filters and scanned by oscilloscope. The obtained results of the filter function are finally evaluated.
