Abstract

The bachelor's thesis focuses on keylogging using an external device, which presents potential risks to our privacy; however, it can often be understood as beneficial. The work examines the functionality, accuracy, and usability of the external device for various types of keyboards, capturing recorded keystrokes between a desktop computer and the keyboard. It presents findings related to the comparison of external devices and highlights their usability. The thesis also compares software and hardware systems, pointing out their capabilities. The goal of the bachelor's thesis is to evaluate whether the recorded data can be helpful or, conversely, exploited.
