Abstract
Maintenance of electrical networks is evolving as its individual elements are developing. With the transition to fully digital protections and the development of remote data readings, it is possible to evaluate the data beyond the scope of legal obligations and at the same time to use knowledge and progress from other technical fields and implement appropriate procedures in electrical networks as well. With correctly defined evaluation parameters, the condition of individual elements and the necessity of their maintenance can be estimated not only based on experience and set periods, therefore network reconfiguration and human resource management can be optimized. This work focuses on an evaluation of monitored elements - circuit breakers, verification measurements of older instrument current transformers and an evaluation of the recording functions of digital electrical protections. The data are used for refining coefficient of the circuit breaker condition. The work also elaborates the possibility of reducing the number of reconfigurations in the electrical network based on unifying the maintenance times and visits of individual elements by grouping them into larger units.
