This master’s thesis examines the use of a school backpack as a potential means of ballistic protection during an active shooter attack on a school. The theoretical section of the thesis defines the basic concepts essential for understanding this issue. The practical part of the thesis focuses on the preparation of experimental ballistic measurements, the execution of these measurements, the evaluation of the obtained data, and the interpretation of the results, including the proposal of possible measures to improve this issue.
