Abstract

The topic of this diploma thesis is “The Ostrava Zoo’s Contribution to the Attractiveness of the City” and therefore, the aim is to examine the most recent approaches and assess Zoo’s competitiveness and ability to boost the attractiveness of Ostrava. The theoretical part is based on literature dealing with competitiveness, methods and its measuring techniques. The practical part analyzes competitiveness of the Zoo using IDINMOS and SWOT analysis. Consequently, based on acquired data, further recommendations and suggestions are offered to the Zoo.
