Analýza možností nasazení jednotek Sborů dobrovolných hasičů při řešení mimořádných událostí většího rozsahu na Územním odboru Plzeň

Abstract

The topic of this diploma’s work focuses primarily on the current state of the voluntary fire fighters facilities located in the Pilsen Territorial Department. The introduction outlines the current legislation and the characteristics of the territory in terms of administration and also in terms of coverage with volunteer fire brigade. The next section further evaluates statistics of extraordinary events and deployment of voluntary fire-fighters in response to it. The section also specifies the risk factors and selects the facilities in terms of voluntary fire-fighters equipment from the view of their personal protective equipment and fire fighting equipment, including an assessment of the personnel and ability of action. Follows the proposal for upgrading selected voluntary fire fighters units with the outline of how the retrofit cost puts a strain on the unit. The conclusion is then given to improve usage of selected voluntary fire fighters units whilst solving the extraordinary events. The work is complemented by a number of attachments.
