Abstract
The topic of this bachelor work is the latest medical technology of today, which is used in many fields of modern medicine. The therapy uses electromagnetic radiation, especially in the visible, ultraviolet and infrared spectrum. Bachelor work explains the effects of light energy on the human body, describes methods and the best sources of radiation phototherapy. Further adverts to use phototherapy in neonatology for the treatment of neonatal jaundice.
