Abstract

Financial analysis is one of the key and primary characteristics of a company's position. The aim of this bachelor thesis was to evaluate the financial situation and health of a selected business company for the period 2015 to 2020 using selected indicators of financial analysis. Company data is drawn from publicly available sources. The second chapter focuses on the theoretical definition of financial analysis of the company. The third chapter provides basic information about the selected company and a horizontal and vertical analysis of the financial statements of the selected company. The fourth part of the bachelor's thesis deals with the financial analysis of the selected company by ratio indicators, namely indicators of profitability, liquidity, activity and indebtedness. The detected values ​​are assessed in time and in relation to the recommended values. Based on the values ​​of the indicators, conclusions are drawn about the financial situation of the selected company.
