Zhodnocení fungování obcí v ČR v kontextu spolupráce a rozvoje venkova

Abstract

The Bachelor thesis on "Evaluation of the functioning of municipalities in the Czech Republic in the context of cooperation and rural development" is devoted to evaluating of the management of the LAG Šumperský venkov in the years 2015-2019. Municipal cooperation is often the only way to promote the development of rural areas. The work deals with the municipal establishment, possibilities of cooperation between municipalities and describes the functioning of local action groups. It describes in detail the functioning of the selected LAG and evaluates its performance by analyzing the financial statements. Through selected ratio analysis indicators (indicators of the degree of autarky, financing structure, liquidity, and profitability), the first hypothesis that the management of LAG Šumperský venkov can be described as optimal is confirmed. The second hypothesis is disproved by SCLLD percentage analysis. It is found that more than 50 % of the funding was not received by the private sector.
