Návrh řešení statické dopravy a organizace dopravy v sídlišti Brněnská - I. P. Pavlova v Olomouci

Abstract

My diploma thesis is dealing with examination of traffic set-up and regulation in terms of its continuity, safety, and also parking and placement of vehicles. It also provides layouts for adjustment of the situation. The thesis aims to remove disproportions among supply and demand of parking places for cars, and to lower negative effects on Brněnská - I.P. Pavlova neighborhood inhabitants, that are caused by parking of trucks. The layout has been designed in three variations, one of which presumes expansion of tram network in the location. The project also takes into consideration future construction plans in the locality, including development of car traffic and traffic intensity, determined on basis of my own research and examination. This part will be developed as a survey. The thesis has a total amount of 105 pages, and 27 designs.
