Abstract

Subject of this thesis is development of inventory management system in a company called Dalkia Česká republika in order to minimize inventory costs. In this thesis inventory is firstly divided into several groups based on ABC analysis. Then the most suitable inventory management system is chosen for each of those groups. Chosen system is then developed further. Chosen system optimizes the amount of accumulated inventory in term of total inventory costs and thus tends to fulfill the purpose of this thesis.
