Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the education of primary school pupils in the field of civil protection, with an emphasis on emergency situations. The aim of the thesis is to design a project day that supports the development of pupils’ basic knowledge and skills necessary for safe behavior in crisis situations. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the basic concepts related to emergency situations and describes the principles of civil protection. It also focuses on appropriate teaching methods and forms corresponding to the age of younger primary school pupils. The practical part of the thesis includes the design and implementation of a project day. The thesis also contains an evaluation of the course of the project day and its benefits for the pupils.
