Abstract

In this Bachelor thesis are characterize plastic, non-plastic and synthetic raw materials for ceramics. Further is described which technology of size reduction are used during their preparation. Familiarization witch basic equipment which is used during crushing and grinding ceramics raw material and in the manufacture of casting fireclay. In second part are processed a described individual manufacturing operations which are used in the manufacture of fire clay from fireproof material. Casting fireclay is designed for disposable when casting steel and cast-iron in the foundry. In the last chapter is a brief overview of the properties this type of fire clay.
