Techniky zajišťování a vyhodnocování stop v kriminalistické odorologii

Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the techniques of securing and analysing traces in criminalistic odourology, the aim of which is to introduce the techniques of securing and analysing odour traces, the use of a police dog at Police Department of the Czech Republic and to inform about the work of dog handlers. In the first part I described what is an odour, the origin, detection, securing and analysis of odour traces as an evidence in prosecution. In the other half of the work I concentrate on a police dog as an indispensable part of criminalistic odourology. I am concerned with the choice of a dog breed for a particular purpose, upbringing, training of a selected individual, use of police dogs at Police Department of the Czech Republic.
