Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with aerosol particles, especially those that form in relation with transport. The aim of the thesis is to verify the possibility of occupational exposure in the working atmosphere in transport with regard to particle phytotoxicity. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on the description of the particles, the effects of the particles on a human health and the sources that emit those particles into the atmosphere. The practical part deals with the measurement, comparison of exposed places with particles with the possibility of occurrence of people in different working positions and measurement of particle exposure at a specific workplace of a car service with regard to the performance of phytotoxicity tests.
