Abstract

The thesis deals with hydraulic binder roman cement. It describes the development and properties of this historical binder. Recently, this binder is used again especially for restoring monuments. The disadvantage of roman cement is high price on the domestic market. In experimental part of this thesis, properties of mortars based on roman cement with admixture of industrial and construction waste are researched. The aim of the thesis was to develop a mortar with the smallest possible amount of roman cement at achievement of the best possible properties. Selected properties were verified in laboratory.
