Hodnocení ekologické kvality toku Porubka dle metodiky HEM

Abstract

This diploma thesis evaluates a section of the Porubka stream on the basis of the hydro-morphological assessment of surface water according to the HEM 2014 methodology – Methodology for Monitoring Hydro-morphological Indicators of Ecological Water Quality of Watercourses. After the introduction, the second chapter describes the Porubka stream and its characteristics. The HEM 2014 methodology together with its principles is introduced in the third chapter. The following chapter deals with the legislation, then also with the terminology used in this paper, and with literary research as well. In the fifth chapter, the work methodology is presented. It contains the description of individual periods, as well as the parameters assessment principles and the processing of results. The ensuing chapter evaluates results. Discussion, which is also the penultimate chapter of the thesis, addresses the results and the HEM 2014 methodology – its advantages and disadvantages when used to assess the hydro-morphological surface water quality. The last chapter concludes the paper.
