Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of emergency survival of disabled people as victims of the crisis. The thesis includes theoretical and practical part. The first part explains the basic concepts that are important for understanding emergency survival as one of the main measures to protect the population. Further it deals with possible types of disabilities, the way of communication of disabled people and their specific needs necessary for their daily lives. The other part suggests ways to increase the awareness and preparedness of people with disabilities for possible crisis situations. I also mention there, emergency survival plan of the Moravian Silesian region and possible improvements that can simplify the emergency survival of people with disabilities.
