Abstract

The Subject of the diploma thesis is to optimalise the inventory control in the company RONA, a. s. that specializes in producing and sailing glass product. In the first part analyzed company is going to be introduced and using financial analysis indicators, the actual economic situation is going to be evaluated. In the second part the inventory controll theoretical solutions and methods for a its optimalization are going to be described. Based on ABC analysis the inventory items which have the biggest affect on overall situation and consumption and which we have to pay appropriate attention, are going to be identified. In the conclusion the recommendations which direction the company should go in the future and actions connected to the inventory controll and its optimalization are going to be proposed.
