Abstract

The dissertation entitled The Competitiveness of Selected Company deals with problem about the competitiveness of the establishment. The main target of this work is finding the competitiveness of selected company and subsequent recommending how to improve and strenghten the position in the regional market. In the case the companies are well-informed about their competing powers, they should have a correct response in a given market environment. The first part belongs to the theoretical backgrounds of competition and competitiveness, which are related to each models and analyzes that helps to specify the competing power of business. At the second part is described a rated company ELPOS JOSEF TKADLEC, Inc. and its major activity. In the last section are applicated theoretical knowledges in the practice. These knowledges are using by tools of internal and external analyzis. The mentioned company received a recommendation based on the results. The recommendation included primarily focus on better using of their e-shop (questionnaire), they should also involve their demand system and surely they should create a new software.
