Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the requirements for the operation of chainsaws. The work focuses on ways to handle the chain saw correctly, how to manipulate when cutting, rules for moving saws from one workplace to another and to perform inspections and maintenance, which eliminates the occurrence of dangerous situations and accidents at work. The work also points out the possible dangers associated with the use of chainsaws, which should be considered by the operator during their work. At the end of the thesis there is a training syllabus, which should be followed by the employer during initial and repeated training of its employees operating chain saws.
