Dopady světové ekonomické krize na Finsko

Abstract

The subject of thesis is to characterize the effects of the Global Economic Crisis on the Finnish economy. The aim is to analyze the impact of the Global Economic Crisis on the Finnish economy, explain causes of the crisis together with the measures established to promote and protect the economy and outline the likely development of the Finnish economy, public sector and public finances in the near future. The second chapter of the thesis contains definitions of the financial crisis, the Global Financial Crisis, the Global Economic Crisis and a description of the causes of global financial crisis. The third chapter describes the development of macroeconomic indicators for the period 2006 - 2011 and selected measures from the years 2008 - 2010. The fourth chapter explains the particular measures taken in Finland in 2011 and 2012 and the state of public finances.
