Abstract
Diploma thesis aims to analyze the economy of a selected municipality located in the Moravian-Silesian Region. In the theoretical part, the concept of municipality is defined and the specifics of this territorial self-governing unit are described. In the practical part, the selected municipality is first characterized. Subsequently, its management in the years 2016 to 2020 is analyzed. The methods of description, comparison, analysis of financial statements, PESTLE and SWOT are used in the work.
