Abstract

Bachelor thesis deals with waste contaminated with radionuclides, described brief characterization of the development from the beginning, to the present state of affairs. Thesis describes the different waste treatment methods using to improve certain properties of the materials for further processing and disposal itself in the form of permanent storage. It described the legislation and the basic division of waste into categories according to their properties, with a description of the most important radionuclides.
