Abstract

In the present work analyzes the problem of municipal waste and in terms of collection and transport. In the first part the characteristics of the municipal waste composition and the relative degree of separation of municipal waste in the Czech Republic. In the second part is treated as municipal waste collection in the Czech Republic and abroad in terms. The third part deals with the transportation of municipal waste, the findings are presented here for possible improvement of municipal waste shipments. Based on findings from research in the Czech Republic and the system is already operating abroad. The fourth part is characterized by the means of transport used in the Czech Republic as well as collecting lorry, which are used abroad. In the final section, a summary of the work and proposes possible solutions and improvements to the existing situation.
