Analýza základních charakteristik připravovaného vodního díla Nové Heřmínovy

Abstract

The thesis describes the suburban zone of the upper Opava river basin, where the reservoir Nové Heřminovy is planned to be built. It presents the history of the reasons for building the reservoir changing throughout the time. The thesis also analyses the impact on the inhabitants and the environment. It describes the final version of the reservoir and also the connected retention areas, which had to be planned because the smaller variant of the Nové Heřminovy reservoir was chosen. At the end of the thesis, there are attachments with the hydrological situation as well as a detailed breakdown of the costs connected to the project of building the reservoir and other measures taken at the Opava river.
