Abstract
This bachelor thesis deals with the evaluation of the financial situation of the joint stock company Saft Ferak, during 2008 - 2011 by applying selected methods. The bachelor thesis is divided into three parts. The theoretical part explains the principle, object and analysis importance. Moreover, it describes information for analysis and methods - horizontal and vertical analysis, analysis of financial ratios, pyramidal decomposition and analysis of influences, analysis of financial, operational and total risk. Following section provides basic information on company and its characteristics including information about ecology, human resources and education projects. The application part is focused on the methods application described in the theoretical part. In the end, results of the financial analysis are summarized and commented.
