Abstract

Bachelor thesis is dealing with mining of raw materials for brick products and methods of their manufacture. The preface is adverting to the main issue of building materials and gives examples of possible solutions. In particular, a summary of some of the newly developed building materials and their properties utilizable in practice is introduced. Furthermore, the important properties of brick materials affecting the manufacture are closely analyzed. The following articles constitute a mapped listing of all beds presently used for mining of brick clay in Moravia. The next section contains a list of all organizations engaged in mining of raw materials, and all brickworks operating in brick production. Further, has bachelor focusing on the mining process of "Polom Ltd." brickworks, which has been chosen as the subject of closer analysis. The end has dealing with manufacture of goods and various processes and activities, preceding the final product. In fine, current state of brick production is reviewed, as well as its expected further development in the future.
