Analýza ekonomických témat v období 1997 – 2000 v týdeníku Reflex

Abstract

This thesis deals with the analysis of economic issues in the weekly magazine Reflex in the years 1997 to 2000. The aim was to find out what topics were issued in this magazine due economic crisis.

The first chapter is called Historical evolution of Reflex and devotion of macroeconomic and microeconomic terms. It discusses the history of the magazine, highlights its inception and looks to the present. The concept of macroeconomics and microeconomics is explained in several respects and further divided into individual terms. The second chapter is called Content analysis of Reflex in the period 1997 to 2000. It analyzes the Reflex in individual years. It follows the main articles of the magazine and incorporates them in terms of macroeconomics and microeconomics. In the last chapter called Dealing with the issue of use in journalism have been gradually developed these following genres: editorial, editorial, interview and questionnaire.

The aim of this thesis is to examine how the media influence public awareness of economic issues.
