Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the feasibility study of using a heat pump for heating of the block of flats. In the first part of this thesis is described the historical development and the basic principle of the heat pumps. Furthermore, the work provided the theoretical knowledge and made calculations that must be considered when choosing a heat pump. On their basis, the heat pump Nukleon HPAW 48 in the split arrangement is designed for block of flats. In the final section is described the annual balance of the costs for operate the heat pump and the district heating, is assessing the financial return and the profitability of the investments and is compared the amount of emissions produced by the current supplier of heating due to the working of the heat pump.
