Abstract

The PhD thesis "Insolvency proceedings in terms of industrial enterprises" is about insolvency proceedings focused on the process of reorganization in selected industrial enterprises in the Czech Republic. The work is divided into three parts, the introduction to the problems in the first followed by the study and analysis of the current state of the problem in the Czech Republic and comparison with other countries. In the third - the practical part is then subjected to the study of several industrial companies that successfully or unsuccessfully undergone reorganization. The results are then derived conclusions and recommendations to complement the current level of knowledge in this field and can provide a basis for extension studies or the basis for practical use in the real enterprise. The motivation for this work therefore was to bring to the area other information that may be better implemented or more useful just at the present time of rapid change and turnover of the global and regional economies. The work reviews the current state of insolvency legislative solutions, when compared with nearby economies and it analyzes the process of reorganization and development of specific companies investigated. Based on the results of this research are also drawn some conclusions and actions that during the reorganization could be implemented in the future.
