Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the design and calculation of wooden observation tower. The theises contains the history of tourist observation. The aim of the thesis is to design structural solutions of individual supporting elements and selected connections of the lookout tower and to carry out static analysis. The main construction material is glued laminated wood. The static analysis of the individual wooden elements and the safety design of the structure are carried out in accordance with the valid ČSN EN regulations. Part of my work is a 3D model created in program Scia Enginner 2016 and design documentation.
