Regionální a inovační strategie Olomouckého kraje

Abstract

This thesis is focused on „Regional innovation strategy of the Olomouc region“. The objective is to present, define, analyze and valorize the approach of Olomouc region and its approach towards promoting innovations in the region. The first part deals with the explanation of concepts and definitions of innovation and regional innovation system. The following part describes the analysis of innovation in the Olomouc and Zlín regions, and the comparison of said regions. In the key part, the regional innovation structures of both regions are described and evaluated in the area of research and development not only in the industrial area. Then, chosen indexes of innovation activity are compared. In the last part gained findings are summarized and proposition of innovation strategy for the next period.
