Abstract

The bachelor thesis focuses on the issue of oxygen therapy provided by members of fire rescue services. The thesis describes the current procedures, technical means, legislation and training related to the administration of oxygen by firefighters in Czech Republic. The thesis compares key aspects of oxygen therapy between the Czech Republic and selected European countries such as Poland, Spain and Sweden. The result is a comparison of differences and similarities in technical means, procedures and legislation related to oxygen therapy. This work can serve as a basis for methodological procedures or possible modification of legislative measures in the Czech Republic.
