Abstrakt Ekonomické aspekty desintegračních tendencí v EU Petra Woroňová

Diplomová práce se zabývá nacionalismem a separatistickými tendencemi národnostních menšin historicky patřících ke státům Evropské unie. Cílem práce je prozkoumat a charakterizovat oblasti, v nichž je separatismus aktuální a posoudit pravděpodobnost secese těchto území. Práce se konkrétně zaměřuje na dva španělské regiony, Baskicko a Katalánsko, dva britské regiony, Skotsko a Severní Irsko a na Vlámsko, ležící v Belgii. V práci je uplatněna především deskriptivní metoda vycházející z popisu historických událostí a zkoumání aktuálních dostupných informací převážně sociologických, politologických a ekonomických. Na základě takto získaných dat je následně aplikována analýza pravděpodobnosti oddělení území.

Abstract Economic Aspects of Disintegrating Tendencies in the EU Petra Woroňová

The aim of this dissertation is to discuss nationalism and separatist tendencies of national minorities historically belonging to the states of the European Union. The main goal of the research is to explore and characterize areas where the separatism problem exists and to evaluate the likelihood of secession of these territories. More specifically the paper is focused on two Spanish regions, Basque and Catalonia, two British regions, Scotland and Northern Ireland and Flanders in Belgium. Mainly descriptive method based on the description of historical events and research of current available sociological, political and economic information is used to analyse the likelihood of secession of these territories.
