Abstract
The primary motivation of this thesis is the growing need for objective investigation of human emotions within immersive digital environments. This bachelor thesis focuses on the development of an experimental application for stimuli presentation and the collection of both subjective and physiological participant data. Results from a comparative study with 30 participants demonstrate that the 360° format significantly increases the level of immersion and the sense of presence, leading to higher emotional intensity compared to standard 2D displays. The thesis verifies the impact of immersive environments on affective reactions and provides a methodological foundation for further research in the field of virtual reality.
