Abstract
In the bachelor thesis we will deal with the description of antennas working on the frequency 868MHz. After a short description of the antennas available in this band, we will be more concerned with the helical antenna. They will be listed introduce geometric properties, radiating modes, and describe the calculation and design of the antenna. I will practice the design in CST Studio, the results of which will be recorded at work. After the construction itself, the results of the measurements on the constructed helical antenna will be presented.
