Katalyzátory pro přípravu PEM systémů pro elektrolytickou přípravu vodíku

Abstract

Water electrolysis with a proton conducting membrane is a promising technology for hydrogen production in the hydrogen economy. However, the need for large quantities of noble metals, which serve as catalysts in the chemical reactions of hydrogen and oxygen evolution, prevents widespread adoption. This work explores the possibility of reducing the amount of platinum by using a magnetic sputtering method and preparing large surface area catalyst particles deposited on carbon. The research focused on the cathodic side and hydrogen evolution. The efficiencies of the prepared membranes and catalysts were compared with those of commercial catalysts.
