Abstract
Diploma thesis is focused on selected properties and microstructure of Ti – CrNi 18/10 bimetal, especically on the interface of austenitic steel CrNi 18/10 cladded with Ti. In the first part problems of joining by explosive cladding is described. Information about explosive welding approaches cladding process itself and wave interference formation. Further, heat treatment of bimetal is discussed.
The experimental part is focused on testing of mechanical properties, microstructure evaluation, analysis of the fracture surface of tensile test resistance of bimetal interface against the HIC.
