This bachelor's thesis is devoted to the evaluation and proposal of progressive evacuation from the hospital building - LZ2. The thesis evaluates the conditions for progresive evacuation in an older building and compares them with the conditions in a newly constructed building hospital of similar size and character. The thesis also evaluates the importance of the standard ČSN 73 0835 – Fire protection of buildings – Buildings for sanitary maters and social care [6] in relation to the possibilities of progressive evacuation. The thesis concludes by addressing the design of an effective phased evacuation system using available fire alarm and evacuation public address systems.
