FRS of the Czech Republic. Bachelor thesis. Ostrava: VŠB – Technical univerzity of
Ostrava, 2020, 35 pages.
The elaborated bachelor's thesis deals with the possibilities of using electric cars at the Fire
Brigade units. The first part describes the basic elements of the electric car such as
batteries, motors, and charging infrastructure. The next part compares an electric car with a
vehicle powered by combustion engine. The next part discusses the statistics of
extraordinary events in Ostrava and driving character to the scene of the extraordinary
event. These findings together with the specific characteristics of the electric car are
evaluated and the possible use of this technology is suggested.
