Abstract

The aim of the thesis was to create an application that would allow communication with a wider range of Bluetooth pulse oximeters. The introductory part of the thesis deals with the basic principles of pulse oximetry and a description of the test oximeters. The thesis also explains the process of capturing and decoding communication protocols to define formats that describe the key elements of device communication. The second part of the thesis focuses on the introduction to the chosen implementation environment. The reader will become acquainted with the processes of design, implementation and deployment of the application. The thesis concludes by describing the testing of the application and the evaluation of the results.
